We had the greatest time this weekend in San Antonio!
A Tibetan Lama whom runs a Monastery for Tibetan Refugee children, in Mainpat India, was in town and put on a workshop about 'Tibetan Buddhism and Culture.'
Some dear friends of mine, from the Homeless Shelter went with...and they were blown-away! Lama Tulku blessed them, gave them Mala Beads, protection cords, and many kind words. I will be adding/sending those pictures soon!
I would highly encourage everyone to find out more about this great 'Saint of Compassion.'
Lama Tulku Karma is so compassionate, humorous, and knowledgeable about eliminating suffering now! His website is YTDR.org and see him on YOUTUBE at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzYro5ojtSA
All the donations raised, go directly to the little refugee children. Lama Tulku only comes to the United States to raise money for medicine, clothing, food, and shelter for these precious little ones. He is the real deal!
Also, being a Workshop on 'Tibetan Buddhism and Culture' it drew in a lot of people whom wouldn't have normally visited a Meditation Center. I pray that you will one day be blessed enough to meet this great man and hear his remarkable story!
much love,
jon
